Our PLA+ eco-filament is made here in Canada. The plastic used for our filaments is biosourced (from renewable organic material) and therefore fully compostable. The treatment that is done to our plastic during its manufacture allows us to have a superior PLA+ filament, in terms of printing finish, and also to have more solid printed objects than with a traditional PLA filament. Plus, our PLA+ filament is still easy to print. (See technical sheet)

Since our PLA+ filament has superior properties to a traditional PLA filament, we have added this little “+” because it is more resistant and more aesthetic.

Our PLA+ filament is therefore made of a very versatile plastic, allowing both prototyping of mechanical parts and printing more aesthetic parts such as figurines or small functional objects.

However, we do not recommend our PLA+ filament for printing objects that will be near a source of heat or flames.
